iTablet (The Mystery Device)

Well we all have heard rumors of weird stuff coming out of Apple, but this one is quite intriguing and fishy aswell. Apple has been dishing out netbook rumors for quite sometime . But that hasnt stopped websites from popping up weird rendition of this mystery device now known as "iTablet", it started out as a netbook now it has evolved into a full fledged multi touch tablet , and some people were so sure of its existence they even prepared and spec sheet and predicted an imminent launch , at the 9/9/09 apple keynote (which was an utter disappointment) all that came out of it was a measly camera glued on the back of ipod nanos , not even one on the ipod touch. So anyway , Coming back to iTablet recently Nvidia Ceo has been spotted in Dubai with this strange device and it has sparked quite a bit of speculation , is it the iTablet? or is it something Nvidia is working on? only time will tell but I am pretty sure Mr.Jobs wont be too happy about that Design as it suspiciously looks like a widescreen Ipod/ Iphone . send in your comments tell us what do you thin it is , or what do you think whats apple next thing gonna be?

Netbooks?... To buy or not to buy

Ok... after that incredibly detailed entry about MW2 by David , We move onto something a bit more commercial. So a friend of mine was thinking of upgrading his laptop , after realising that some mobiles were far more capable than his good ol lappy. But here's the dilemma He asked me for advice and I really cant make up my mind to which one to recommend. Very appropriately i went on the mighty google and searched for two simple words "Best Laptop", it quickly came with a billion results in some nano seconds , but sadly none of them had anything to do with a laptop so i continued my search. After extensively rummaging through the dungeons of laptop review sites , i stumbled upon something called a " NET BOOK " if you look at it , it basically means a book with net, to an extent it is that , except the net in this case is the internet!

I could go on about the GHZs and TBs but its not the point , these machines weren't made to watch the 720p videos never mind editing them , neither they were made to play any of those games whose names consist of merely 3 letters i.e WOW or COD. what netbooks were made to do was to be small enough to go anywhere with you without you having to look like a gay hooker carrying a fendi bag to ur next client. oh and provide you with mobile computing on the go , ooooooohhhh sounds ermmmm geeky? lol . So yh as teh sayin goes You win some you loose some , but in this case you do loose quite ALOT actually , Disc Drives , Hard Drive Capacity , Processing Power are just few of them , oh and not to mention Your eyesight , which will be sooner or later lost trying to read text off webpages looking into that 8 inch screen , which pretty much feels like havin a wank when ur footy team is losing 1-0 to their arch rivals. So although it might be cheap and claiming to be portable be which it might just be, it still has the capability to ruin your love life, make you loose your friend and your eyesight. So unless you are planning to spend the rest of your life as a disabled lifeless retard , I'd reckon you stay away from netbooks and get a proper computer....! Maybe a Mac?:P

The Countdown Is T-Minus 3 Days.

As we close in to Modern Warfare 2, speculation is high and so are hopes. But, ask yourself this, "What happens if it turns out like Call of Duty: World at War?" Well, let's hope it doesn't although people have been saying that it will fail, Activision and Infinity Ward have worked harder than Treyarch to make the experience better for us as players. The Modern Warfare 2 launch trailer is out (above). It looks quite good.

Cya next time, David.
